Shake Rattle & Roll

Shake Rattle & Roll is a fantastic choir program currently being run and tested in Newcastle, Australia. The choir is made up of both people with Parkinson’s Disease and their carers and loved ones. Together they all perform music and movement every week learning new songs and working towards a final concert.

It is a unique program that is as much about the social activity of the group as the physical one. The Arts Health Institute is currently undertaking research to further develop the program so that it can be rolled out nationally to help people with Parkinson’s everywhere.
